Kindergarten
Academics in kindergarten mark the beginning of a child's educational journey. At St. Dominic's, the kindergarten curriculum focuses on a wide range of skills and competencies including language development, emotional growth, basic mathematical concepts, scientific inquiry, socialization skills, and physical development.
Kindergarten introduces these concepts in a fun and engaging manner, incorporating various learning styles through visual, auditory, and hands-on activities. The curriculum fosters growth through play-based learning, storytelling, rhymes, and exploration.
Primary School
The foundation of a child's growth is primary education, where children learn fundamental skills that prepare them for adulthood, the workforce, and active citizenship.
St. Dominic's helps students reach great heights, serves as a platform for showcasing their abilities, and builds a firm foundation for their future. Character development, creativity, and critical thinking are encouraged through a well-rounded curriculum.
Students also acquire valuable life skills such as leadership, time management, and collaboration, providing equitable learning environments that empower children and safeguard their well-being.
Middle School
We, at St. Dominic's, go beyond classrooms and curriculum.
Developing leadership qualities, instilling a love for learning, and nurturing the intellectual curiosity of our students are our primary concerns as educators. At this pivotal stage, students are encouraged to be ambition-oriented and open to exploring diverse perspectives.
Mentoring and shaping individuals of strong character and ideology is our core responsibility — one that we carry out with pride and unwavering commitment.
High School
The advancement of modern, technology-based learning has paved the way for progressive teaching methodologies. Our faculty deliver direct learning experiences using digital tools across subjects such as Language, Science (with STEM focus), Mathematics, and Social Science, enriched by our innovative In-Field Learning Experience program.
At this level, ample scope is provided for the holistic development of students in Classes IX and X. We encourage the application of knowledge in real-life problem-solving while promoting 21st-century skills, digital literacy, health and wellness, and citizenship education.
Higher Secondary
At St. Dominic's, we envision every student becoming a world-class orator, writer, technologist, scientist, or mathematician. Students are encouraged to become critical thinkers, explore and experiment with their talents.
The Higher Secondary department is competent and qualified to prepare students for the culmination of school education before the transition to higher education. Students can select between the Science and Commerce stream, along with Tamil or French as their second language.
The laboratories are well equipped with the latest apparatuses and instruments for scientific experimentation. Over the years, the department has produced centum results in the board exams of standards XI and XII.
